We're All Going To HELL!
Y-Control - the new single from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs WILL be released
in the UK as a limited 7" ONLY on the 1st November 2004! The cover
of this wonderful single is shown above.
- August 30th 2004:A recent e-mail that I sent
to the band was replied to::.
nick:hey
man,
yeahs.co.uk: how
are the band and what you all are up to??
nick: good. we're
hanging out, i've been working on a photo book.
yeahs.co.uk: I
understand that Y-Control will be a download only single, but
what about the video?
nick: mtv or whatever
should be showing it- i imagine theyre not too keen on it. maybe
it's only on at night, if at all. we had 3 remixes
done for y-control by: The Faint, Tommie Sunshine, and Genesis
P-Orridge. Genesis was in Pyschic TV and Throbbing Gristle,
and is one of the most fascinating artists and human beings.
he is the shit.
yeahs.co.uk: ..has
recording started for the second album yet, or are you still
on a break? And will your Har Mar collab get a single release?
nick: no, we wont
start for a while. not sure on the har mar single choices..you'd
have to ask him.
nick: thanks,
nick
Hope this update answers a few queries for you guys (^^!).

Speaking abotu the collaberation, Har Mar said:"We've been working
on stuff for the last couple of months. She's just moved to LA
and I live there now. So we're going to get together and just
do it.
YYY guitarist Nick Zinner has also been contributing to the record."
